Michelle Elkins, CPA has been assisting individuals, for-profit, and non-profit businesses with their accounting needs for over twenty years.
She has worked in a variety of accounting positions, including management positions and as a Site Financial Manager. Her career experience includes work in many industries including; healthcare, aviation, retail, guardianship, insurance, consulting, churches, law firms, and non-profits.
Michelle has helped companies of many different sizes; from new startup companies to ones with 100+ employees in Alaska, Wisconsin, Georgia and Florida. She has worked with individual clients located all around the world. Tax planning and compliance is a big part of what Michelle offers. She assists individual and corporate clients with income, sales, tangible property, and payroll taxes.
Michelle spent time working at the Office of Public Guardian, Inc. in Tallahassee, Florida. During her tenure there, she prepared the court accounting reports. At the request of several local attorneys, she started offering services to private guardians in 2004. Since then, Michelle has prepared thousands of court accounting reports and has worked with many attorneys around the state of Florida.
In addition to accounting work, Michelle has experience in Human Resources and has helped to find process improvements and gain efficiencies for several different employers.
